Herrenchiemsee Festpiele

KlangVerwaltung Orchestra

was founded in 1997 by violinists Andreas Reiner and Josef Kröner.

With their principal conductor Enoch zu Guttenberg KlangVerwaltung played at the Vienna Musikverein, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, New York‘s Carnegie Hall, in London, Moskau, Beijing, Seoul, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires and other important arts centers around the globe. Critical acclaim often focused on the orchestra‘s unusually lively interaction, their colorful sound quality and chambermusiclike ensemble.

After the tragic death of Enoch zu Guttenberg in June 2018, this season KlangVerwaltung will appear, among others with Kent Nagano, Roberto Abbado, Paul McCreesh, Fabio Biondi and Thomas Zehetmair. Schubert‘s „Great“ C-Major symphony though, Enoch zu Guttenberg‘s last CD-recording, the orchestra performed in March 2019 with their leader Andreas Reiner - without conductor - in rememberance of the great Enoch zu Guttenberg.
